Gumnut Embroideries is an Australian based machine embroidery design business, with many years experience with hand embroidery, and machine embroidery for different brands of embroidery sewing machines. All of our machine embroidery designs and patterns in our library are manually digitised. I now have a quick link www.sewouts.com to Gumnut Embroideries, handy in some search engines as sewouts.com. Please note that I do not have any tracking software attached to my designs and patterns which are always supplied in zipped format.
Our new exclusive designs are now available.

I enjoyed hand embroidery from a young age (7), then as a teenager I bought my own sewing machine. I have had opportunities to teach dressmaking, quilting and hand embroidery over the years.
In my later years I moved on, and got "hooked" on manual machine embroidery in the year 2000. I have four different brands of embroidery machines. All four embroidery machines are used in test sewouts of my embroidery designs and patterns on Homespun fabrics. I offer free machine embroidery designs for you to test sew on the Gumnut Embroideries site. I enjoy making themed or story-telling embroidered quilts using my embroidery designs from my library. I display them around the home, at quilting and embroidery exhibitions and show-and-tells. I have won prizes for my machine embroidery quilts.

We supply designs in the popular formats VP3, JEF and PES. The Gumnut Embroidery Designs are for original customer use only. In the near future, I want to broaden my embroidery design library with additions such as florals, animals, and beautiful butterflies. The library will feature artwork exclusive to Gumnut Embroideries and manually digitised designs.
