This is the fullfilling of my dream as a digitiser.  I have gathered together Australian Artists who will create exclusive pattern designs for Gumnut Embroideries and its customers. They are all manually digitised and test sewn on my embroidery machines.  The offer will normally be two hoop sizes, the 4x4 (100x100mm) and 5x7 (130x180mm); however, on occasions I will use the larger hoops.  You always have the option of splitting the larger pattern design with your embroidery software if you do not have a suitable hoop.  The current exclusive sets my embroidery library are  Russell Bilby, Randolf Mouse, Mitzi Mouse and Jacobean Flowers.  The designs are to be used by the original purchaser only and not to be copied or sold on.  The digital design files and sewn out images are not for commercial use.

We have commissioned Dana Ferris to create a family of Bilbies which we willl digitise as exclusive Gumnut Embroideries designs for our embroidery library.  Bilbies are a member of the bandicoot family and live in the harsh dry areas of outback Australia. The Bilby is on the endangered species list and lives in isolated small colonies.   

Dana is a young Australian cartoonist/illustrator with a passion for improving her artwork. Her artworks usually include bright and happy colours but she is never afraid to try something new.  Check out Dana's site at   http://danaferris.daportfolio.com .
