What are your design's formats?

We offer all designs zipped in three sewing formats. VP3, PES and JEF. Since mid 2017 our new design sets are now supplied in five formats, having added xxx, and dst. (VIP removed). The formats are listed against each product offering. We also supply a color chart. Most embroidery machine software will convert these formats to other popular embroidery machine formats to allow a satisfactory sewout. If you have a specific embroidery format requirement, please contact us before you purchase, as we do not give refunds on digital products.

We have had enquiries about what formats we could suppply if all else fails. I have compiled a list of Embroidery Machines and Quilting Machines for which I can supply a specific file format.

What size hoops are used by your designs?

We now offer up to four hoop sizes in our design sets. 4" x 4" [100mm x 100mm] and 5" x 7" [130mm x 180mm] are offered in most designs, however, we are now catering for embroidery machines which can accomodate the 6"x6" [150mmx150mm] 8" x 8" [200mmx200mm] hoops. Our new Quilt Blocks category will carry all of the larger hoop designs for your convenience. The Quilt Blocks will concentrate on the 6" x 6" [150mm x 150mm) and the 8" x 8" hoops.

Special Hoop offerings: I have expanded the hoop sizes for our Little Blossom Border Sets which are for specific hoop's width sizes. Please read the specification of each Border Set carefully before purchasing. If you purchase the wrong hooping sized design, we will not give any refunds owing to the nature of digitally downloaded products. Please contact me if you have any queries, or if you require a quote for a special hoop size design.

How do you set up your hoops?

Generally we follow the these basic guidelines. All of our testing sew-outs are done on Homespun fabrics so that we get real-world results. For designs with less than 10,000 stitches use one layer of stabilizer. For larger designs up to 20,000 stitches two layers of stabilizer are recommended.

What else do I need to know?

Australian customers can now use Direct Deposit or PayPal for their purchases which include GST. Please place your name in the Description field when making the Direct Deposit payment. International orders will use PayPal and are priced in USD. No taxes or surcharges are applied to international orders.

As our products are digital files, delivery will be by email/internet only. We do not offer our products on any physical media such as Floppy Disk, CD/DVD etc. When the transaction is completed through PayPal, your purchase will be delivered by email notification to your designated email address within 2 hours. Please ensure that you have an operational email delivery address in your purchase details. If you do not receive your notification, please check that your web mail server has not placed our email in the server's spam folder. If your download notification has not occurred after 2 hours please contact us on sales@gumnutembroideries.com. For Direct Deposit customers, please allow adequate time for your payment to be transferred into Gumnut Embroideries account. Direct Deposits can take up to 3 trading days. We endeavour to resolve all issues within 48 hours.

Data Loss

If you have a computer crash and lose your Gumnut Embroideries downloads, please contact us with the purchase details, email address, transaction ID and we will endeavour to provide a replacement free of charge.
